These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Invora (the “Service”). By using Invora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Questions: hello@myinvora.com.
1. The Service
Invora is an online tool that helps you create invoices, preview them live, and download Letter-size PDF files. The Free plan lets you create and download invoices without creating an account. Free PDFs do not include watermarks; a small Invora brand mark may appear on the PDF.
Features currently described for Free use include live preview, multi-currency support (USD, INR, EUR, GBP, CAD, and more), a simple tax percentage field, and one-click PDF export. Availability of features may change as we improve the product.
2. Pro plan (Coming Soon)
Pro features shown on the site — including client directory, saved invoices, logo and branding, search and filter, reuse clients, duplicate invoice, and secure login — are planned and marked Coming Soon until checkout and accounts are available. When Pro launches, it is expected to be offered on a yearly plan with payment processed through Stripe. Pricing and features may change before or after launch; the pricing page will show the current offer.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use Invora. The Service is intended for business and professional invoicing use, not for children.
4. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of business, client, line-item, tax, and payment information you enter
- Whether an invoice meets legal, tax, or contractual requirements in your jurisdiction
- How you use, send, store, or share any PDF you download
- Complying with applicable laws when using the Service
Invora is a software tool. It is not accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or legal advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Invora for fraud, spam, scams, or other illegal activity
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malware or content you do not have rights to use (including logos when Pro launches)
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a way that harms others
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these Terms are violated.
6. Accounts and security (when Pro launches)
When account signup becomes available, you must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@myinvora.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
7. Fees and billing (when Pro launches)
Free features are provided at no charge. Paid Pro subscriptions, when offered, will be billed as described at checkout (expected yearly billing via Stripe). Taxes may apply. Except where required by law or stated at purchase, fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the invoice content you create (business details, client details, line items, notes, and any logos you upload when that feature exists). You grant Invora a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service — for Free, primarily in your browser to generate previews and PDFs; for Pro, also to store and display saved workspace data you choose to keep.
You represent that you have the rights needed for any content you enter or upload.
9. Intellectual property
Invora’s name, branding, website design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to copy or resell the Service itself, other than downloading PDFs of invoices you create for your own business use.
10. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third parties (for example hosting, PDF generation libraries, analytics, or Stripe for payments). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Invora is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that PDFs, totals, tax calculations, or currency formatting will be error-free or suitable for every use case.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invora and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50 if you used only the Free plan.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Invora against claims arising from your invoice content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update features, pricing, branding on PDFs, or these Terms as Invora evolves. Material changes to the Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Termination
You may stop using Invora at any time. We may suspend or end access to the Service (including future Pro accounts) if required for security, abuse, non-payment, or legal reasons. Sections that should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Invora, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue, except where prohibited by law.
